01/07/2013 GhostLight Productions Team Connects Again!
CLEVELAND, OH- GhostLight Productions, LLC landed four Cleveland Business Connects (CBC) magazine Connectors Choice award FINALIST nomination nods in the 6th annual competition that recognizes professionals in the corporate events and networking industries. Each nomination came in a separate category out of the total 25. GhostLight's professional team has been voted a finalist in Corporate Event Planner of the Year, Event Production Company of the Year, and two nods for Non- Profit Organization Fundraiser of the Year (>$50K budget). GhostLight principal, Deborah Hermann is a founding member of the Cleveland Chapter of the International Special Events Society (ISES Cleveland), which is also finalist in the Networking Organization Event of the Year for the "Speed Networking" event held in October 2012.
The two non-profit fundraisers that are nominated for Connectors Choice awards are the Cleveland Police Foundation Gala held in November 2012 and the Western Reserve Land Conservancy event in September 2012. Both events were productions showcasing GhostLight principal, David Shimp.
The 125 finalists were determined entirely by the online voting of the general population between October 16 and December 2, 2012. Just more than 8,000 ballots were presented. The finalists were asked for written submissions and references to be reviewed by the CCA judges, one per category. The judges include:

• Marianne Franz, President, American Wine School
• Scott David Kuhn, Restaurateur/Chef
• Stephanie Ricca, Editor-in-Chief, Hotel Management Questex Media Group
The Sixth Annual Connectors Choice Awards will be held at The Galleria at Erieview on February 27, 2013.
